Discovery Drilling was established in 1999 as an exploration drilling company. Since establishment this company has maintained the highest standards with regards to Health & Safety personnel, equipment, and the delivery of quality product to its clients. We are proud to present Discovery Drilling as the complete exploration and drilling solution.
We strive to provide an excellent service, based on experience and quality of both management and field personnel, as well as rugged, safe and reliable drilling equipment.
In early 2018 we concluded a sale agreement whereby 51% of our South African Drilling Company was acquired by a BBBEE consortium, Discovery Drilling South Africa (DDSA).
DDSA is a broad-based 75% black-owned and controlled South African mining services company owned by two black anchor shareholders, Indlovukati Investments and Ramab Health Care. DDSA is 25% female owned.
The company is led by a team with a combined management experience of over 150 years in the operation and development of multi-national businesses.
