Botswana Defence Force
The Botswana Defence Force (BDF, Tswana: Sesole Sa Botswana) is the military of Botswana. The main component of the BDF is the Botswana Ground Force; there is also an air wing and a riverine patrol contingent attached to the ground forces, with 10 Panther airboats and 2 Boston Whaler Raider class
Our assignments, in carrying out the duties of protecting the nation and its resources take us across the wider geographical disposition of Botswana.
Though relations with other nations, we may travel abroad in providing peace missions or inter-military trainings, the opportunity that enables us to interact with different cultures and explore different parts of the world.
