Dipeo Nursery School is the Maru-a-Pula home of Peo Group of schools. This popular school offers daycare for babies new born and up, pre-school, aftercare and holiday programs.
The open foyer space with its coffee and tea station provides a warm welcome to parents each day. The principal’s door is always open and Dipeo works on an open door policy inviting parents to come in and chat whenever and also to be more involved with their children’s day at school. Classes are split based on a combination of age and developmental level. There are four large playgrounds which the children play in according to age group.
In addition to the usual preschool studies, children are able to participate in Monkeynastix, Kindermusik, swimming lessons, Bible Classes and Setswana lessons.
The Dipeo animals are a favourite activity. In the morning, the little children go and feed the rabbits which is an excellent way to teach compassion and responsibility. “If I send my daughter in with carrots for the bunnies, she happily leaves my side to go to class” says one Dipeo parent.
Working parents will be relieved to know that they offer all-day classes (aftercare) and popular holiday programs.
