Gabs Bedding is a joint venture company that began its operations in 2001. The company currently employs about 200 people. Situated in Phakalane, the company manufactures base sets, lounge suits and leather products (hand bags and travel bags).
Gabs Bedding is a BITC assisted manufacturing company based in Gaborone, that has been manufacturing in Botswana since 2001.
It has 7000m2 factory, in which they manufacture Base Sets, Mattresses (Inner Spring, Layered Foam & Foam), Lounge Suites, Hard Wood and Metal furniture, Leather and Canvas Bags, Kitchen Sponge products, and we have a Foam Converting operation to service local demand for Cut Foam products.
Gabs Bedding currently employ 220 people in its manufacturing process, all of whom have been trained in-house, and have recently made substantial investment in plant, machinery and infrastructure to increase our capacity in line with its projected growth in demand for its products.
Their Bedding Brands are Sleep logic to cater for the Lower to Upper “Mid-Range” Bedding, and Posture logic for its Premium Layered Foam Bedding products, incorporating specialty Foams (Latex, Super soft, etc.). In addition to its own “home grown” brands, they have recently concluded a License Agreement to manufacture Premium Inner sprung Mattresses and Base Sets under the Silentnight brand, one of the leading bedding brands in the U.K.
Gabs Bedding also manufacture Base Sets for selected customers under their own Brands, and they have developed Base Sets specifically for the Hotel and Hospitality Trade.
