RATIONALE FOR BLENDED LEARNING
Workshop based training is notoriously ineffective- as learners view is at a holiday from work and don’t approach it with much seriousness. It is therefore important to devise effective strategies that are more learners centred and will ensure that learning has actually taken place.
Instructor based training is not necessarily the best and is inconsistent with best practice in adult learning, as most of our learners are adults we have to engage a range of learning approaches
Blended Learning is a less disruptive learning approach and will go a long way towards creating a culture of learning as it makes it easier for organisations to commit to training.
