Lowapi Study Centre
Lowapi was established in 2010 but went into full operation in 2019 by our executive director, Bonolo Boitshwarelo-Gaba. All Bonolo wanted to do was help learners to reach their full potential by giving them a strong foundation to reading. We at Lowapi are therefore committed as a team to learn more on how children learn to read and what to do when a child encounters a difficulty in learning to read.
Therefore, we focus on building and improving on phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension. WHY? Because the ultimate goal off all reading instruction is for the student to understand what they read.
We first assess the strengths and needs of each student then we provide smaller, more supported and structured classroom environment where we work on building social and emotional skills.
